What is NauticShare?
NauticShare is a boat membership company. Members choose from three membership plans, the amount of time they want to cruise each month and on which boat they would like to cruise. Next, they log on to our proprietary online scheduling system to reserve their assigned boat. It’s that simple.

What is the commitment?
The membership term for the local plan is only 12 months. During this 12-month period, you can always upgrade to a larger boat or change your membership plan, as long as space is available.

How much does it cost?
In most markets, membership starts at just $185 per month. There is also a small, one-time joining/training fee that gets you the training you need to be a good, safe boater and member.

Is training included?
Yes. Each member goes through our New Member Training program, including the American Sailing Association Basic Keel boat 101 course on sailboats. In addition, we provide each new member with several hours of private boating orientation. No matter what your level of boating experience, our trainers can help you become 100-percent competent and safe on the water.

What type of boats do you offer?
NauticShare offers both power boats and sailboats. We also allow any vessel to be considered for addition to our fleet. We have very strict guidelines to ensure our boats meet our standards, the highest in the marine business.

Can my spouse train with me?
Absolutely. We encourage spouses to participate and want to get them involved as much as possible.

How many cruises do I get every month?
This depends on which membership plan you choose. We offer three memberships plans: 3-cruise, 6-cruise and 14-cruise packages. Each membership offers unlimited access as available at no additional charge.

Can I keep the boat overnight?
Sure. Keep the boat for an overnight, a weekend or even week-long excursion. With our Navigator membership plan, you can actually keep the boat up to 14 days in a row!

What is a carry-over cruise?
A carry-over cruise is a cruise you did not use in the past month. The NauticShare scheduler will automatically move the unused cruises forward to the current month, thus allowing you double the access in the current month.
